Description

FUNCRECOL Standard Photopolymer Resin (Skin) – High-Precision 3D Printing Resin

FUNCRECOL Standard Photopolymer Resin (Skin) is a 405 nm UV-curable resin designed for use with resin 3D printers (LCD/DLP/MSLA) to produce smooth, detailed, skin-tone coloured prints. It’s ideal for miniatures, figures, character models, props, prototypes, and display parts — especially those where natural or flesh-tone colours are desired straight off the printer.

🧪 Product Overview

  • Resin Type: UV-curable photopolymer

  • Colour: Skin / Flesh-Tone

  • Bottle Size: ~1 kg

  • Compatible Printers: LCD, DLP, MSLA resin printers that use 365–405 nm UV light (e.g., Elegoo Mars/Saturn, Anycubic Photon series, Creality Halot, Phrozen Sonic)

  • Finish: Smooth, semi-matte surface that holds detail well for miniature painting or display pieces

This “Skin” variant from Funcrecol is formulated for good print accuracy, stable curing, and natural-tone output without needing extensive post-painting — perfect for figurines and character models.

🔍 Key Features

🎨 Natural Skin Tone Colour

  • Produces a warm, flesh-like colour that’s excellent for miniatures, model characters, busts, wargaming figures, and figurines.

  • Reduces the need for base-painting for basic display prints.

🎯 High Precision

  • Excellent for fine details and facial features, capturing texture and subtle model surfaces with clarity.

  • Ideal for hobbyists and model painters who want a good base colour.

Fast & Stable Curing

  • Cures under 405 nm UV light typical in most resin printers.

  • Designed for consistent performance with minimal print failures.

👌 Smooth Surface Finish

  • Low viscosity formulation results in fewer visible layer lines and good surface quality straight off the printer.

🔄 Wide Compatibility

  • Works with most desktop resin 3D printers that operate at 365–405 nm wavelength.

  • Compatible with slicing software like ChiTuBox, Lychee, NovaMaker, and printer-specific slicers.

🖨️ Printing Workflow

  1. Prepare Printer:

    • Shake the resin bottle to mix pigments and chemicals evenly.

    • Ensure the build platform and resin vat are clean.

  2. Printing:

    • Pour resin into the vat.

    • Set your printer exposure values (start with manufacturer or community-recommended settings).

    • Begin printing; the UV light cures each layer.

  3. Rinse:

    • After printing, remove the part and rinse it in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or ethanol to remove uncured resin.

  4. Post-Cure:

    • Dry the part thoroughly, then cure it with a UV curing station or in sunlight for final strength and stability.

🧯 Safety & Handling

  • Always wear nitrile gloves and eye protection when handling uncured resin.

  • Work in a well-ventilated area to reduce fumes.

  • Store the resin sealed, away from light and heat, for best shelf life.

  • Clean tools and hands after contact with uncured resin.
