ELEGOO ABS-Like Photopolymer Resin is a UV-curable liquid resin designed for LCD / MSLA / DLP resin 3D printers. It is engineered to mimic the mechanical strength and toughness of ABS plastic, producing durable, impact-resistant 3D printed models with high detail accuracy.
This resin is widely used for engineering prototypes, mechanical components, miniatures, and industrial models because it offers good durability while maintaining high printing precision.
1. Description (DES)
ELEGOO ABS-Like Photopolymer Resin is formulated to provide strong and tough printed parts similar to ABS plastic. The resin cures quickly when exposed to UV light between 385 nm and 410 nm (optimal 405 nm), making it suitable for most modern resin 3D printers.
The latest Version 3.0 improves printing performance by lowering viscosity by 25–47 % compared to earlier versions, allowing the resin to flow faster back into the printing area. This reduces suction force during layer separation and improves the overall success rate of prints.
The material also offers high precision and low shrinkage, meaning printed models maintain accurate dimensions and detailed surface textures with minimal distortion.
In addition, the resin has improved impact resistance and toughness, enabling printed parts to withstand drilling, handling, and light mechanical stress without breaking easily.
